How to verify Java version?

Symptom:

  1. Unable to run Java Applet.
  2. Unable to connect token into SecureTMS RA.
  3. Unable to Unblock token in SecureTMS RA Web Manager and Self-Service

Problem: User does not have Java Runtime Environment installed or not the most updated version installed.

Solution:

To verify the java version:

  1. Open any web browser (preferably Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Internet Explorer & Google Chrome).
  2. Go to http://www.java.com/verify/
  3. You will be able to see the Java Version stated clearly on the page.
